Phehello Mofokeng is a founder of the BKO spoken word collective, the owner manager of Design Garage and an occasional writer, poet and performer. In his early days he was active on stage in South Africa and Botswana, although today Phehello is more of a behind the scenes figure in the Joburg literary scene.

Through Design Garage and BKO he designs and lays out the Ge'ko Publishing books, as well as the CDs and other products produced within the collective. He also writes on a relatively regular basis for a variety of publications, such as as Sawubona and Rootz, amongst others. Oh, and he obviously makes sure BKO stays running smoothly.
