art of music

Music is an art form that emerges from different mood swings, and is often inspired by the same atmosphere as fine artistry. The idea behind this exhibition is to cross over the two genres and to see what happens.

The art of music exhibition will showcase a very wide line up of new and emerging talent, and aims to expose Jozi's urban arts and culture heads to great talent, and to the new business models we're developing to support that talent.

On the line up:

Rasty – urban artist
Hack-1 – urban artist
Roger Jardine – photography (Durban)
Tolo - photography
Goge – urban artist
Andrew Miller – spoken word (writer)
Apocalyptic – spoken word
Man of the past – 3 piece band
Nomahlubi – spoken word

Nosisi - singer / spoken word
Following on the heels of the very vibey launch of Meropa's CD, this promises to be a big show that offers visitors a fresh angle on the art coming out of SA's cities and the business thinking behind it. Best of all is the awesome art, craft, books, music and ideas on sale.
