KK Diaz, founder and owener of Liber8 Records is one of the unheralded (thus far) figures on the local music scene. 

KK operates purely for the love of music and is doing some great work with young and not so young Joburg artist. His fondness for live recording and capturing live sounds has been one of the sparks for the live Unity sessions, and finds further expression in the South African Indigenous Music Recording Project, which sees him travelling outside of the city to capture some of our country's unique sounds, personalities and genres.
