Patrick Mabena has been working at Unity for over six years and has become an integral part of the design team, as well as being a pillar of the production unit for AfriCan products. 

Mabena's eye for colour and form has seen his move well beyond his initial craft starting point and today he creates a fascinating range of products, ranging from 'nail art' pieces to his very popular beaded wooden panels and exquisite trunks and items of furniture (such as trunks) featuring copper nail details. 

Patrick has particpated in many group exhibitions and is also developing his fine art skills. His first solo show is on the horizon.
